Despite the death and destruction already wreaked by Harris’s crisis, we are still learning the true scale of the devastation. Many crimes go unreported to law enforcement or by the media. Horrifyingly, below is only the beginning of how Harris’s crisis is hurting people in New York.

A man who illegally crossed the border in 2023 has been charged with raping a 36-year-old woman in the Bronx. As report by the New York Post, he is "one of three migrants busted for sex crimes in the Big Apple in the past two weeks."
A Peruvian gang leader wanted in his home country for 23 murders was arrested in New York after border patrol initially released him into the United States.
Two NYPD officers were shot by a Venezuelan national after he crossed the border illegally in Eagle Pass, TX last July and was released by the Harris-Biden administration.
- An immigration judge with the U.S. Justice Department dismissed removal proceedings against the Venezuelan national just one month prior to shooting the NYPD officers.
Two illegal immigrants reportedly staying at one of the migrant hotel shelters in New York brutally beat and mugged a tourist outside a hotel in Times Square.
In February 2024, an illegal immigrant was arrested in New York City after opening fire on a security guard and police offers during a robbery attempt, hitting a 38-year-old bystander in the leg.
In January 2024, a group of migrants attacked NYPD officers in Times Square, with some of the suspects still at large.
In September, an illegal immigrant was charged with stabbing a man to death in New York.
This same illegal immigrant had been previously released by police because of a paperwork delay despite being accused of a separate stabbing in another state.
In early September, it was announced that a migrant was arrested six times for 14 crimes after being in New York City for just two months.
